Dr. Rho is a trans-disciplinary artist, Reiki Master and instructional game designer with more than 30 years of experience in K-20 education. On a mission to normalize the struggle of being human, she is obsessed with the intersection of art, science, spirituality, entrepreneurial mindset and human behavior — specifically, the interactions that can instantly remove limiting beliefs, reveal new possibilities and restore autonomy.
As the founder and Chief Experience Organizer of Restorative Play, Rhoda blends her background in corporate training with her research on self-regulation to create brave spaces that remind conscious leaders there is nothing to fight, only choices to be made. Her Musical Micro-Learnings™help people reflect on their lived experience, give language to their emotions and deepen their connection with others. She has more than 30 years of experience working with diverse learners in K-20 education.
In 2022, she was commissioned to write the Companion Curriculum for the critically acclaimed sustainability documentary, Beyond Zero. These conscious business lessons have been translated into Spanish and are being used by management professors worldwide. Rhoda is also the co-designer of Culture Goggles™, a card game that uses levity to facilitate hard conversations by neutralizing power dynamics among stakeholders.
Raised in Southwest Arkansas, Dr. Rho is a country cosmopolitan nomad who will gravitate towards almost anything involving animals, dirt, trees, water, culture and MICHELIN-starred experiences. When she’s not out changing the world, you can find her running kitchen experiments or inviting serendipity by getting lost on purpose.
